The Highland Group has completed an 8,000 sq. ft. (745 sq mtrs) vacant building restoration and office conversion on Eastfield Road, the main access road to Edinburgh Airport. The development was fully funded by Highland and carried out on a speculative basis.
Highland successfully negotiated a detailed planning consent with City of Edinburgh Council to convert and extend a former agricultural steading with significant architectural merit.
Eastfield House has been let in its entirety to MWH UK Ltd for their Scottish headquarters.
The Group also retains the completed development and investment as an example of its development capabilities, particularly in relation to its proposals for a new International Business Gateway on the opposite site of the Airport Road.
